There is nothing worse for a man in terms of aesthetics than being bald in the head.  The problem is that this is sometimes unavoidable, especially if they have the genetic signature in their DNA to grow bald.  Male pattern baldness is hereditary in nature which means if you husband’s father is bald, your husband may also inherit the trait as well as your sons.  If you find your husband to be a bit too conscious about his balding head, then you may have the right gift for him and it’s called finasteride 1mg.  Finasteride 1mg is actually the only medication that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration of America in helping treat male pattern baldness or androgenic alopecia.

There are actually a multitude of reasons for hair loss.  For most men though, it is male pattern baldness that strikes them.  This type of hair loss is easily distinguishable because you will see the receding hair line as well as a clearing over the top of the head.  This type of hair loss does not happen in an instant.  Instead, it happens through a span of many years.  This is because this type of hair loss is not due to hair falling just like that, it is mostly due to the thinning of the hair follicles which is why the scalp becomes easily seen through the hair as most hair strands have thinned out.  As hair follicles become ever so thinner, they are no longer support the growth of hair and thus the hair growth they have stops and loss of hair becomes apparent when combing the hair.

Since male pattern baldness is both hormonal and genetic in nature, it simply cannot be treated using creams or ointments.  While hair growing cream may somewhat help, it simply does not address the real condition and that is the thinning of the hair follicles.  The follicles become thin because of the excessive presence of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone in the scalp.  This dihydrotestosterone is actually a byproduct of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase and the hormone testosterone.  What finasteride 1mg does in making it so effective in stopping androgenic alopecia is that it basically inhibits the production of dihydrotestosterone by inhibiting the enzyme 5-alpha reductase into converting testosterone as such.  It can be said that finasteride 1mg really treats male pattern baldness at the hormonal level, making it truly the effective treatment against androgenic alopecia.

Finasteride 1mg was never really intended for the treatment of hair loss.  Initially, it was meant to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia.  However, the drug somehow had a beneficial side effect and this was treating androgenic alopecia hormonally.  To date, there is no other medication that is approved by the FDA for the treatment of androgenic alopecia.  There are FDA-approved hair treatment creams that act as hair growers, but never any true medication.  It is easy to say that the creams only treat hair loss condition at a more superficial level, whereas finasteride 1mg treats the condition at the hormonal level.  Help your husband avoid the embarrassment of being bald and give him finasteride 1mg.
